Black Jack and Poker May Alleviate Negative Sentiments About PA Casinos, TRC Study Suggests
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) April 14, 2010
TRC Market Research (http://www.trchome.com) announced today the results of a study conducted among Pennsylvania residents. The study suggests that favorability ratings might improve for Pennsylvania casinos with the addition of gaming tables. The residents are split in terms of their feelings towards casinos. Not surprisingly, younger residents are more in favor than older residents, and those who are unmarried are more in favor, as are the males. However, 14% of those “on the fence” say that adding gaming tables would make them feel more favorably about the casinos.
In addition, the study reveals that half of PA residents believe that casinos will provide job opportunities. On the other hand, one quarter believe they will contribute to a higher crime rate.
